  • Enhancing Your Coaching Quality to Maximize Your Potential as a Coach

    Presenters: Keiko Shinohara & Yvonne Thackray, Executive Coaches

    Every coach thinks about and strives to improve the quality of their coaching. Yet in our zeal to become better at what we do, we may focus on enhancing our skill set without first asking ourselves the all-important question, What is coaching quality?

    Seasoned executive coaches Keiko Shinohara and Yvonne Thackray are passionate about coaching quality and guiding coaches to consider the bigger picture of what constitutes coaching quality. In this interactive virtual workshop, Keiko and Yvonne will highlight the driving forces of today that make putting coaching quality on the table for examination, discussion, and individual redefinition so vital.

    This workshop is an opportunity for coaches to asses how they recognize and observe coaching quality in themselves and others. You will learn how to apply a wider lens through which to evaluate coaching quality and to understand the interconnection between coaching quality and Core Competencies #3 Establishing Trust and Intimacy with the Client and #4 Coaching Presence. There will be ample time for practice coaching sessions.

    At our meeting, we will:
    — Discover how to measure your quality of coaching from self, experiences, and qualifications
    — Learn a model to enhance your awareness and deepen your ability to build rapport and trust with your clients
    — Coach each other with a focus on Core Competencies #3 and #4
    — Earn essential Continuing Coach Education units

  • ¥2,500 (ICF Japan members) or ¥3,500 (nonmembers). If you are a member of an organization registered as an ICFJ corporate partner, you may attend at the ICFJ member price of ¥2,500. Offer limited to two people from the same organization.
